Lululemon stopped supporting the Mirror, which left a very good piece of glass and a 40-inch panel with nothing to show. I bought one used and replaced the software entirely.

The mirror does four things and then gets out of the way. In the morning it shows the time, weather and what the day holds. When I’m getting dressed it proposes outfits from photos of clothes I actually own, filtered by weather, occasion and what’s clean. When I’m leaving it counts down to the door. At night it goes dark, and nothing overrides that.

My phone is the remote. Siri shortcuts switch modes. An Apollo sensor handles presence, light and CO₂. Sleep and health come in from Eight Sleep and Apple Health. Everything runs locally on the Pi, with no subscription and no cloud account.

The software runs today on a Mac. The display controller and Pi are next, then speakers.
